XMacro is 17rounds out of box, XCompact is 15 rounds out of box. XCompact can run a bigger optic if that matters. I'd get the xmacro unless you shoot the xcompact better. X Macro is thinner with 17rd magazines. XCompact has 15rd magazines, but takes larger capacity ones up to the 33rd mags. Both conceal about the same.

Sep 29, 2022 · The only way to get a Sig P365 X-macro with an XL slide is to buy two different pistols and swap the slides. The marketing department at Sig has triumphed over the engineering department. In the meantime, I'm running a Springfield Hellcat Pro that came with five mags from the factory, is exactly the same size as the Xmacro, and cost ~$300 less.
