They say shoot them they will break in . I had to slide the rounds in one at a time by hand. I have 3 Kimber 10mms. A Custom Eclipse II, a Custom TLE II and a Camp Guard 10. The Eclipse and the TLE were bought new and have run 100%. I would like to try some Double Tap but it's a bit more expensive.To test it, I swapped barrels with my 10mm Stainless II and the result was the same with the Stainless II barrel in the Raptor slide. The Raptor barrel in the Stainless II slide with the same mag chambered just fine by racking the slide. I’d never fire it like this but manually working the slide it operated. This was the result I expected.Remove the extractor. Lock the slide open. Seat a fully loaded magazine. Allow the slide to move forward at full speed by pushing down on the slide stop. If the first round out of the mag feeds fine, the extractor is the problem. It has incorrect geometry, too much deflection, too much tension, or all three.This is true. On a Glock 29 a 21 to 23 pound spring is perfect for my reloads I prefer the 23 for hot loads and 21 for the rest of my handloads. On a 1911 the spring weight for the hammer (main spring) and recoil spring can be increased.
