Kawasaki kfx 50 problems.
I've got a KFX 90 that won't start. I'm getting no spark. I've had issues with it for a while, but they are intermittent. It runs fine, put it away, a few days or a week later it won't fire. A few more weeks, it worked fine. I took it to a tech, a rather substantial jolt when unloading it from the truck, and it worked fine for them.

I tested the battery voltage and I'm getting about 12.6 volts regardless of engine rpm. I unhooked the voltage regulator and tested the AC voltage ...I also cleaned the air filter. - I took the carb completely apart and cleaned all the jets and blew compressed air in the carb and jets. The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl. Most of the jets were clear but I still used music wire and air to clear any blockages.

One is a washer in the headpipe and the other is a spacer in the carb. 1.To remove the headpipe washer, simply unbolt the headpipe from the cylinder and you'll see it. It reduces the exhaust hole size to about 1/4" - 3/8".

Apr 17, 2010 · Replaced plug good spark put in engine no bang. Removed carb thinking it was shalaked up but it looked pretty clean inside but cleand it with carb clean anyway. Put carb back on nothing whats weird is if I put the fuel selector to the on position no fuel runs to the carb but if I put it on PRI on either side it will put fuel to the carb.
