Hello, my name is Strimtom and I am here to share my award winning build for the ranger class. The idea was to build a ranger using the newly revamped Arcane Archer enhancement tree. What I found was a build that was new player/F2P friendly and the highest damage I could possibly find.Tome of Learning. Lesser and Greater Tomes of Learning are available in Epic and Heroic versions in the DDO store. These provide you with permanent bonus XP. The Lesser version will grant a 25% bonus for completing a quest for the first time, and 10% to all other XP. The values for the greater one is 50% for first time and 20% for all other XP.Race: Drow· · · · · · · · ·Alignment: Lawful Good. Solo: 5/5. Party: 4/5. Main Features: Inquisitive is a really strong option for hardcore given the ranged element that is very useful to stay alive. 23 APs adds medium armor proficiency (more AC/PRR and no MRR cap) and -35% ASF total. Air sorc first life might have some issues with enemy reflex saves in higher difficulties (elite or r1) at higher levels (level 20+). Lots of mobs have improved evasion, which lets them take zero damage on a successful save.

Too many mobs in DDO have the "Hjealed by Fire dur-hur dur-hur dur-hur" ability.Combine that with great spells like sound burst, as well as awesome healing spells, and you have a match made in heaven. This character doesn't have much AOE DPS, but it makes up for that with very high single target dps. A fun build that will work from level 3-30.
