Vengeance is a high level spell on Lunar Spellbook but it helps DPS when Zulrah throws the random range attack during tanz phase. Veng reflects part of damage taken so that's another 1-30 damage per tanz phase.Do zulrah->TOA->GWD. You can also mix gwd in there whenever you feel like it. But having the blowpipe actually helps a lot for gwd . You really dont need bowfa for zulrah. you should generally just not use range until you have bowfa it's that much better than every other range item. but yeah, sure. you absolutely do not need it, people killed zulrah till pipe with regular trident and an msb for years. I'd hold off on the gauntlet grind until after you finish zulrah.

Top and bottom for all. I usually get 2-3 minute kills and use void mage helm, book of darkness, occult, trident of the swamp as switch. If you wanted to take three items to switch, I would take a shield instead of book of darkness. Two items switch I would just switch helm and trident. Hope that helps. Once you have bowfa you can pretty much do everything in the game. Also everything you were doing before, becomes so much easier with it since it shreds. For instance, with trident and rcb or a kbow I would get to zulrah's jad phase 9/10 times. Now with bowfa and trident I only get to jad phase 1/10 times and that's due to bad rng.

Bowfa is what makes raids/inferno/gwd doable without 2bil in gear so yes, it's absolutely worth it. Bowfa is the best mid game upgrade you can get. More important than anything melee or magic, other than fang. First item I always get on new accounts then I can do gwd, toa, muspah, leviathan, all great gp.All this is to say, the most important thing about learning Zulrah is to not get discouraged. This is a difficult and punishing boss to learn, especially if you're doing it without access to a trident or other important pieces of gear.
